Peshawar Rugs

Peshawars are hand knotted rugs from the northwestern Pakistani region. The rugs feature traditional Persian and Oushak styles and they tend to have a thinner pile or profile. The vegetable dyes that are used are typically sun dried to create subtle hues. The faded coloring and elegant patterns make these rugs very popular in western design.
